Marissa is originally from Western Newfoundland and moved to Nova Scotia in 2020 to attend the Veterinary Technology program at Dalhousie's Agricultural College. She first came to Carnegy Animal Hospital as a student in 2021 and joined the team as a full time technician in 2022. When not at work, Marissa enjoys keeping busy, whether that be with one of her four pets, travelling or finding odd jobs. Marissa is very passionate about her career in veterinary medicine and hopes to continue learning more everyday!
