Overview
Veterinary professionals dedicate their careers to caring for animals, often while carrying the emotional weight of difficult cases, ethical challenges, client grief, and the demands of a high-pressure profession.
The Tender Tails Program provides specialized mental health support designed specifically for those working in veterinary medicine. Whether you're navigating workplace trauma, moral injury, compassion fatigue, burnout, grief, or the cumulative impact of caring for others, the program offers a compassionate, confidential space to process these experiences.
Through counselling, critical incident debriefing, and educational training, Tender Tails supports the well-being and resilience of veterinary teams across Atlantic Canada and Ontario.
