Dr. Shannon Lindsay

Dr. Shannon Lindsay grew up in small town Saskatchewan and got her Veterinary degree from Western College of Veterinary Medicine, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. After graduating, she moved to St. John’s, Newfoundland, where she worked at a very busy local clinic. Years later, she moved inland ever so slightly, and came both to Halifax and Carnegy Animal Hospital in 2001. Dr. Lindsay loves all the nature and community that Nova Scotia offers, and has been very happy to have raised her two teenagers here over the past 20+ years. She has two vizslas; Rossi, an 12 year old pup who is living the downtown life with her son, and Rhys, a 1 year old rowdy boy who never stops moving! When she’s not busy chasing after said energetic puppy or driving her daughter to the barn, Dr. Lindsay loves to fill her time reading, hiking, travelling, and dancing (I’m learning to salsa!). When she needs a laugh, Ted Lasso is the always the go-to choice. If she were to become an animal, she would be something intelligent, intuitive, matriarchal, and regal: an African Elephant or a grey tabby housecat
