Kayla was born in Nova Scotia and has been a member of the Carnegy team since 2012. You could say that Kayla's known to take her work home with her, as her pup Sierra was actually a rescue brought into our clinic 7 years ago with a traumatic leg injury! It was love at first sight, and Sierra quickly joined Kayla's two kitties, Eli and Chester, at home. When she's not caring for her critters, Kayla likes to spend time outside with her three-year-old daughter, who loves exploring new playgrounds and walking trails. Kayla's favourite animal is still, and has always been, a panda bear.
