Dr. Nina Speyer graduated from Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. She then completed an internship in small animal surgery and medicine at Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston, MA. She practiced veterinary medicine at Amherst Veterinary Hospital in Vancouver, BC from 1997-2015. Dr. Nina is especially interested in the care of senior pets to ensure they enjoy a good quality of life. She became certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture at Colorado State University in 2013. She is now delighted to live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with her husband, two children and of course their furry family members.  Dr. Nina joined us in 2016 and provides acupuncture and laser therapy by appointment. As of January 2021, Dr. Speyer is also accepting patients for general practice consultation.
